The USB ends up with a single ISO9660 partition and the osx86 volume with the bootloader that actually does the hackintosh doesn't pop up like it does with a DVD. But there is just something not right about it. I did try using Linux DD since it's a direct sector-by-sector copy no processing needed. And even then, the boot partition doesn't seem to work correctly.
